Clean, repeatable gasket and foam parts

A steel rule die cuts the full outline and any inner holes of a gasket in one press. Every part comes out the same, which makes it a simple way to produce gaskets, washers, pads and foam inserts for prototypes or regular production.

Common jobs

Gaskets and seals

Flat gaskets with bolt holes and inner openings.

Foam inserts

Case and packaging inserts in EVA and other foams.

Pads and washers

Anti-slip pads, spacers and washers.

Prototypes

Single dies to test a new part before production.

Which base for industrial use

For production work we usually suggest a compressed plywood base (18 mm). Clear acrylic (15 mm) and PVC (5 mm) bases are also available. Compare the three bases.

Questions

What file do you need for a gasket die?

A DXF, AI, SVG or PDF drawing works best. A scan or photo of a sample part with measurements also works. We send a 1:1 proof for approval first.

Can one die cut the outline and the bolt holes together?

Yes. Inner holes and openings can be built into the same die.

Do you make single dies for prototypes?

Yes. The minimum order is one die.
