How to order a custom cutting die
You do not need CAD skills. A drawing file, a scan or a clear phone photo of your paper pattern is enough to start.
1. Send your pattern
Use the order form on our home page, the live chat, or email. We accept:
- Drawing files: AI, DXF, SVG or PDF. Best for exact dimensions.
- Scans: a flat scan of your paper pattern at 100% size.
- Phone photos: a clear photo of your pattern, taken from straight above.
The order form accepts up to 5 files, 10 MB in total. Phone photos are resized automatically. For larger files, email them to jsd28540@gmail.com.
Tips for a good phone photo
- Lay the pattern flat on a plain, contrasting surface.
- Shoot from directly above, not at an angle.
- Use even light with no strong shadows.
- Write the overall width and height on the pattern or in the form.
2. Tell us about the job
- The material you will cut and its thickness.
- Your preferred base: clear acrylic, compressed plywood or PVC. Not sure? We will recommend one.
- Quantity, and any holes, slots or details we should know about.
3. Approve the proof
We redraw your pattern as an exact cut line and email you a 1:1 scale proof with a firm price. Nothing is made until you approve it. Quotes are always free.
4. Pay with PayPal
After you approve the proof, you pay through PayPal. You can also pay by card through PayPal.
5. Production and shipping
Your die is hand-bent and mounted in 3–7 business days, then sent by EMS international post with tracking. Delivery takes 4–7 days, depending on your country. We email the tracking number the day it ships.
